Global Raymac Surveys Inc. in Edmonton seeks a Field Survey Assistant to support a variety of survey projects within our Utilities Group. This entry-level role offers a strong path for someone starting or building a career in surveying, with onboarding to provide hands-on experience.

Recent Geomatics graduates are especially encouraged to apply. You will work outdoors, transfer field data, maintain gear, and assist the Crew Chief on-site, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; related experience is asset but not required.
• Recent Geomatics graduates welcome to start a career in surveying.
• Willingness to work in remote locations from time to time.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field surveying projects.
• Secure work sites in accordance with safety protocols.
• Complete digital paperwork, photos, and forms.
• Follow direction from the Crew Chief.
• Maintain survey equipment and company vehicles.
• Review and process field data into appropriate systems.
• Flag and mark boundaries.
• Transport equipment to and from job sites.
• Dig holes for survey posts.
