Job summary

Foster Farms in Ontario is seeking a supervisory professional to oversee fryer performance, quality and production across our live operations. You will coordinate labor needs, schedule shifts and ensure compliance with safety and quality programs.

The role requires a strong animal science background, leadership and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Excellent communication skills and data analysis ability are essential to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years supervisory experience; preferred in live production.
• Strong Animal Science background (B.S. in Poultry Science, Ag-Business or related field is preferred).
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, late and early morning hours.
• Must have good computer skills and the ability to create and analyze data.
• Ability to interface with all support groups, departments and upper management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fryer performance, quality, and production.
• Coordinate field compliance with grow-out, disease prevention, safety and quality programs.
• Coordinate all ranch functions and ensure accurate completion.
• Coordinate labor needs and scheduling accordingly.
• Complete wage records and personnel evaluations for subordinate employees.
• Employee development and training; enforce company policies and procedures.
• Administer disciplinary actions and assist with hiring/firing as needed.
