Job summary

SaskTel in Saskatchewan is seeking a Field Services Technician to install, analyze, coordinate, maintain, test and repair customer premise equipment and outside plant facilities. You will work with customers and internal teams to ensure timely service and uphold a professional, positive demeanor.

This on-site role requires strong problem-solving, safety awareness, and willingness to travel as needed across communities within the province.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in telecom/electronics/computer networking, or Grade 12 with two years' experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate in varied outdoor conditions.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and independent work capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, maintain and repair voice, broadband, data systems and outside plant facilities.
• Coordinate with customers and SaskTel departments to ensure timely service delivery.
• Safely operate heavy equipment and comply with safety policies.
