Job summary

BluMetric Environmental Inc. is seeking a full-time Field Service Representative to install, commission, and maintain water and wastewater treatment systems.

The role includes programming controls in field and production settings, requiring PLC experience and a valid driver’s license for site travel. Ideal candidates will have four years in electrical work, knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Automation Direct, Siemens) and a readiness to travel up to half the time, including international trips.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience in the electrical field.
• Valid Electrician License (309A or 442A) or equivalent degree is asset.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley, Automation Direct and Siemens PLCs & HMI’s.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, repair, and setup process control equipment.
• Calibrate instrument equipment and maintain safety procedures.
• Interpret electrical schematics and PLC/DCS drawings.
• Diagnose complex process problems and perform safe repairs.
• Travel up to 50% for site commissioning and troubleshooting.
