HaslerRail is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Canada service team. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, commissioning, and retrofits on rail power equipment, traveling across Canada and occasionally internationally.

The role requires a technical background in electrical engineering or equivalent experience, with strong customer focus and hands-on problem solving. Domestic travel will be frequent, with opportunities to participate in installation supervision and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Field service background with installation, testing and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Experience with DC power systems up to 3 kV is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Ensure efficient service delivered to customers in Canada and globally.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on client facilities.
• Implement retrofits and modernization projects with internal teams and customers.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning and customer trainings on Sécheron equipment.
• Prepare technical intervention reports and templates.
• Support Sales Engineers with substation surveys and site access permissions.
• Assist Sales in preparing repair quotations and identify service opportunities.
• Travel within Canada up to 80% and occasionally internationally.
