Job summary

Light & Wonder Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to cover the Ottawa area, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting our gaming systems at customer sites. You will perform preventative maintenance on EGMs and ETGs, verify status via MT, and document incidents and maintenance logs.

Strong electrical and electronics knowledge, plus the ability to read schematics, is required. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; college electronics training is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College level electronics training helpful.
• One year experience in assembly, testing and repair of electronic gaming devices, or six months experience and related gaming school certificate of completion, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs), Electronic Table Games (ETGs) and equipment.
• Ensure proper operations of EGMs/ETGs via diagnostic tests, software settings and functional testing.
• Navigate Management Terminal daily to verify EGM status.
• Assemble and prepare accessories for installations per change orders when applicable.
• Complete incident reports in compliance with Gaming Commission and company standards.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and daily/weekly tech logs.
• Adhere to Field Service standards, policies and procedures.
• Follow safety procedures for vehicle, loading games, ladder use and electricity.
• Keep tools and equipment in safe, working condition.
• Stay current with Field Advisories and eLearning.
• Review customer issues with management and technical lead as they arise.
