Job summary

Atlantic Lottery is seeking a casual Technical Service Representative to support a service territory across Prince Edward Island, with extensive travel throughout the territory.

The role focuses on servicing and maintaining lottery terminals and related equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and SLA compliance while working independently in the field. Candidates should have 1–3 years in technical/customer service roles and hold an Electronics or Engineering Technology diploma.

Qualifications

  • Electronics diploma or Engineering Technology diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Technical and Customer Service roles.
  • Ability to lift and move weights up to 50 pounds.
  • A clean and valid driver’s abstract and a valid driver’s license.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle with valid registration and insurance, in a safe condition.
  • Travel up to 90% of the time within Prince Edward Island service territories.
  • Willingness to work shifts including evenings and weekends.
  • Must reside within the service territory or within commuting distance for timely response.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional technical support by diagnosing and resolving issues with gaming technology to keep equipment operating reliably.
  • Maintain and install gaming equipment at retail and destination locations, ensuring a seamless experience for customers and players.
  • Build strong customer relationships by delivering professional, responsive service and clear communication in the field.
  • Support operational success by helping meet service commitments and minimizing equipment downtime across the service territory.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot complex issues and support new initiatives and product launches.
  • Promote safe and compliant operations by following established standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
