Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience with atmospheric / cryogenic gases is an asset.
• Availability for after-hours calls and overtime is needed.
• Willingness to travel within BC and Alberta (50%) required.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain bulk gas supply systems.
• Work on small on-site plants, food freezing equipment, and piping installation.
• Manage contractors and coordinate projects.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Central Region Customer Service Manager, this role involves installing and maintaining bulk gas supply systems, working on small on-site plants, food freezing equipment, and piping installation and sales.

Technical Responsibilities

• Knowledge of pipe and gas fitting
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
• Basic knowledge of cryogenic equipment
• Welding and brazing skills
• Troubleshooting electronic and computer-controlled systems
• Manage contractors and coordinate projects

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a related field or Journeyman status in Electrical, Instrumentation, Refrigeration, Welding, or related trade
• 3-5 years’ experience with atmospheric / cryogenic gases (asset)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and technical report writing
• Availability for after-hours calls and overtime
• Willingness to travel within BC and Alberta (50%)
• Ability to work independently in outdoor environments
• Strong communication and safety awareness
• Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs
