Job summary

Linde Canada Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician in North York, ON.

The role focuses on installation and maintenance of bulk gas supply systems and on-site plants, including piping installation and related sales support. The successful candidate will interpret drawings, perform welding/brazing, and troubleshoot controls, with after-hours availability and the ability to work independently in a field territory.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a related discipline (C.E.T.) or Journeyman status in Electrical, Instrumentation, Refrigeration, Welding, or related trade.
• Three to five (3-5) years of experience with atmospheric/cryogenic gases and related equipment is an asset.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to plan and execute work.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain bulk gas supply systems and on-site plants.
• Read and interpret drawings to plan work.
• Coordinate with on-site teams and contractors to meet timelines and budgets.
• Perform welding/brazing as required for installation and repair.
• Troubleshoot controls and instrumentation and prepare technical reports.
