Michael Page (Canada) is seeking a field-service technician to perform preventive maintenance, commissioning, and repairs on critical power equipment. You will support UPS systems, batteries, and power distribution at customer sites across Alberta and beyond.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, a related technical diploma (Electrical Engineering Technology or Electronics), or a Red Seal certification.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or related discipline
• Red Seal Electrician certification is highly desirable
• Experience with UPS systems, batteries, electronics, power distribution, or critical power infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Alberta
• Ability to travel to the U.S. for product and safety training when required

Aufgaben

• Perform preventive maintenance, commissioning, repairs, and emergency service on critical power equipment
• Service and support UPS systems, battery technologies, and related electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems at customer sites
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers regarding service and maintenance issues
• Provide technical recommendations and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and travel throughout the region to support clients
