Job summary

Swish Group of Companies in Winnipeg, Manitoba is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial cleaning equipment both in the workshop and on customer sites.

You will install chemical dispensing systems, perform preventative maintenance, manage parts inventory, and support sales with demonstrations. Excellent technical aptitude and a customer‑facing mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License (Class 5) and clear driving record.
• Ability to read manuals, diagrams and schematics.
• Strong organizational skills for parts inventory.
• Strong computer skills to log calls and order parts.
• Good interpersonal skills with customers, staff and suppliers.
• Technical or mechanical aptitude is an asset (electronics, appliances, small engines).
• Willingness to learn new skills from the team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and service commercial cleaning equipment in workshop and on customer property.
• Install, configure, and maintain chemical dispensing systems in customer facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations for safety and performance.
• Maintain inventory of replacement parts and equipment.
• Care for and stock the service van.
• Manage scheduled service calls and after-hours emergencies.
• Assist Sales and Management with equipment demonstrations and rentals.
• Keep records of billable hours for service calls.
• Promote Planned Maintenance Agreements to reduce downtime.
