Job summary

KAESER Compressors Canada Inc. is seeking a Service Technician for the BC Branch in British Columbia. You will install, maintain and repair compressed air equipment at customers' premises, respond to field service emergencies, and contribute to in-workshop assemblies.

The ideal candidate holds an electromechanics diploma with 3–5 years' experience, strong electrical knowledge, and proficiency with IT tools. Occasional nationwide travel and strong customer-facing skills are required.

Qualifications

• Electromechanics diploma required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Good electrical knowledge and ability to read plans.
• Comfortable with IT tools.
• Knowledge of compressed air systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with piping is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and toolbox in hand.
• Willingness to travel occasionally across Canada.
• Able to respond to service emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

The profile we are looking for

• Electromechanics diploma
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Good electrical knowledge and ability to read plans
• Comfortable with IT tools
• Knowledge of compressed air systems (a big plus!)
• Notions of piping (an asset)
• Valid driver's license (Class 5) and tool box in hand
• Available to travel occasionally across Canada
• Ready to respond to service emergencies as needed
