Job summary

e-STORAGE is seeking a Lead Roving Technician to commission and maintain SolBank Storage Power Block (SPB) systems across Ontario. You will lead field teams, coordinate with project managers, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

The role requires 5+ years in renewable energy service, knowledge of BESS systems, and willingness to travel up to 100%. A CMMS background is preferred, with a strong ownership mindset and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a service environment.
• Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems and photovoltaic or Energy Storage system applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel regionally, up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Support sites within your designated area for LTSA/long-term service agreements.
• Fill in as a field site supervisor or site lead during projects.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Commissioning Manager and LTSA manager during commissioning and LTSA.
• Direct customer interaction during service and commissioning planning, ensuring safe procedures.
• Train new Service Technicians and contractors on CMMS and procedures.
• Represent Services as site lead for new projects and manage scheduling and safety.
