The Shaw Group Limited in New Brunswick is seeking a proactive Business Development Representative to grow our building materials portfolio with field and inside sales support. You will work with contractors, dealers, and customers across NB to price jobs, quote projects, and drive orders.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of building materials sales, bilingual English/French, and the ability to read plans.

Formación

• Three or more years of sales experience in building materials, construction supply, or a related trade.
• Bilingual English/French is required to communicate with diverse customers.
• Valid New Brunswick driver’s license and a clean driving abstract.
• Ability to read plans and produce budgetary material takeoffs.
• Solid Excel skills and disciplined CRM habits.

Responsabilidades

• Call regularly on landscape, masonry, homebuilders, and siding/exterior contractors across your region.
• Manage the local building supply dealer network with pro desk visits and training.
• Visit active jobsites to check progress, resolve issues, and identify upcoming work.
• Lead lunch-and-learns and dealer product days; represent the company at home shows and events.
• Identify projects early through builder relationships and architect contacts.
• Serve walk-in trade and retail customers at the counter; quote and take orders.
• Prepare budgetary material takeoffs and quotations from plans.
• Follow up on quotations and convert to orders; maintain showroom displays.
• Support credit applications and coordinate with accounts receivable.
• Maintain CRM records and provide monthly market forecasts and reports.
• Contribute to seasonal planning and stocking programs.
