Job summary

High5 is seeking a Field Operations Superintendent/Construction Safety Officer to drive safety culture across Asphalt, Paving, Construction, Civil and Infrastructure projects. The role partners with field teams to embed risk controls and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will lead safety management activities, coach field teams, and balance safety requirements with operational needs while supporting project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in occupational health and safety, construction operations, or a related field.
• Experience supporting large-scale construction, civil infrastructure, asphalt or industrial operations.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Champion a proactive safety culture across Asphalt, Paving, Construction, Civil and Infrastructure operations.
• Strengthen the safety management system with practical field-based solutions.
• Partner with project teams to identify risks, implement controls and improve safety performance.
• Lead contractor safety management across all construction project phases.
• Analyze incidents and translate findings into corrective actions.
