Job summary

Metro Vancouver Regional District is seeking two Supervisors, CSA Field Safety Management to strengthen workplace safety across diverse field operations based in Burnaby. You will provide hands-on safety expertise, develop practical safety solutions, and influence safe work practices in collaboration with the Corporate Safety team.

Qualifications

• 5 years of recent, related experience in field safety, including construction-related safety.
• Designation or eligibility as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) is preferred.
• Industrial First Aid Certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical safety advice on field safety management matters and address high-risk activities.
• Develop and implement safety programs and policies in line with regulations and standards.
• Interpret regulations and provide guidance on safe work practices and PPE use.
• Conduct field inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations; document findings.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and contractors to ensure safety plans are followed.
