Job summary

Metro Vancouver is seeking two Supervisors, CSA Field Safety Management in Burnaby to lead field safety across our operations. You will provide hands-on safety expertise, influence safe work practices, and develop practical solutions with Corporate Safety.

The role reports to the Program Manager, Field Safety and requires CRSP designation or eligibility, strong communication, and ability to manage multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 5 years of recent field safety experience, including construction-related work.
• CRSP designation or eligibility; First Aid is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of WCB Act and OHS regulations; ability to apply them.
• Experience developing safety programs and delivering training.
• Proven ability to manage multiple safety projects and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical safety advice and identify high-risk activities in field operations.
• Develop and implement safety programs and policies; promote a safety culture.
• Interpret regulations and provide direction on safe work practices.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations; drive corrective actions.
