Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site construction operations for large-scale building and infrastructure projects in Ontario and British Columbia.

You will champion health and safety, coordinate electrical/mechanical work with trade partners, and mentor site teams to deliver projects on time and within quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years in construction, relevant certification, and a proven track record coordinating schedules and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience.
• Experience coordinating electrical or mechanical work on infrastructure or building projects.
• A construction-related certificate, diploma/degree, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Track record of promoting collaboration and project success.
• Experience with safety regulations, scheduling, quality, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Serve as safety champion on all job sites, promoting health and safety.
• Oversee electrical or mechanical work on site and coordinate with trade partners.
• Manage materials to support the Quality Program.
• Mentor on-site teams to foster collaboration and excellence.
• Collaborate to drive construction schedule and meet milestones.
• Suggest creative methods to boost efficiency and project outcomes.
• Support client coordination meetings with Project Managers during start-up.
• Ensure timely receipt of materials and adherence to building codes.
• Maintain accurate project records and inventory for the logistics team.
