Job summary

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd. is seeking an Industrial Project Safety Advisor to support field operations across Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

The role requires hands-on safety leadership, risk assessment, and incident investigation with collaboration among employees, management, and clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical/instrumentation safety, process safety culture, and experience in industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Electrical or instrumentation trade qualification is strongly preferred.
• Industrial health and safety experience in field operations.
• Experience across Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba OH&S legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on field safety support and ensure safe work practices.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and audits for compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and track corrective actions to completion.
• Engage with clients, supervisors and subcontractors to foster safety culture.
• Prepare safety reports, dashboards, and performance updates for leadership.
