Aecon Concessions in Bowmanville, ON, is hiring a Field Safety Advisor to promote a healthy and safe culture across our nuclear construction project at Darlington site. The role supports safety and environmental plans, inspections, audits, and coaching to meet regulatory standards and Aecon's safety values.
You’ll train staff, track safety metrics, develop JSA and high hazard procedures, participate in Joint Health and Safety Committees, and coordinate with government agencies.

What is the Opportunity?
As part of an alliance agreement, Aecon has been awarded a contract in an Aecon‑led partnership with Kiewit Nuclear Canada by Ontario Power Generation (OPG) for the execution phase on the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP) in Clarington, Ontario. Beginning in 2025 Aecon will support the Construction of the Unit 1 Small Modular Reactor at the Darlington site.
The EHS Advisor actively promotes a healthy and safe culture to all levels of employees within the organization to ensure compliance with regulations, safe work practices and procedures.

Pay Range: $85,000 - $ 110 ,000 per year
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
