Field Quality Technician – Construction Materials Testing

Job summary

Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a Quality Technician to support field testing, inspection and sampling of construction materials across the GTA and Ontario.

This role reports to the Engineering Manager and plays a key part in ensuring quality standards and project requirements are met. You will perform field inspections of asphalt, aggregates, soils and concrete, collect samples, core and compact materials, and keep accurate testing records.

Qualifications

• Experience in field inspection and testing of construction materials.
• Ability to sample, core, and compact diverse materials.
• Maintain accurate testing records and reports.
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with geotechnical inspections when required.
• Assist with laboratory testing when needed.
