Job summary

A utility services provider in British Columbia is seeking a Powerline Technician to patrol and assess the condition of power lines. Candidates must hold a Red Seal PLT certification and have a minimum of 3 years of experience. The position involves outdoor work and travel to various sites in remote areas. Strong technical skills and familiarity with safety protocols are essential. The successful applicant will work a standard 50-hour week and must have a clean Class 1 Drivers License.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Patrol designated areas of client’s distribution and transmission system.
  • Inspect and document deficiencies in equipment.
  • Work outdoors and travel to various locations.
  • Adhere to safety policies during all tasks.
