Job summary

Canlin Energy Corporation is seeking a full-time Field Operator to join the Panther/Burnt Timber fields west of Sundre. You will support production operations, perform equipment maintenance, and ensure adherence to safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in field operations, relevant trades or technical certification, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in sour gas environments. Valid driver’s license and physical fitness are required.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in field operations.
  • Trades or technical certification would be an asset.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Comfortable working in sour gas processing environments.
  • Experience in upstream gas processing and gathering system optimization is an asset.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, use stairs/ladders, work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Takes initiative to create positive change and bring forward ideas.
  • Ability to shift priorities and complete tasks timely.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to district goals aligned with Canlin’s low-cost producer strategy.

Panther & Burnt Timber Fields

The Role

This is a full-timerole in the Panther/Burnt Timber fields west of Sundre and consists of a40-hour work week (shift subject to change). This role will support thePanther/Burnt Timber Areas and occasionally support other assets within theWildcat Hills District. The following are key responsibilities:

  • Supportthe Production Foreman in the safe and reliable operation of wells andfacilities.
  • Maintainequipment and infrastructure to meet production throughput requirements.

Please note:

This position is within the scope of the collectiveagreement between Canlin Energy and Unifor Local 1400. Compensation will bedetermined as per the collective agreement.

The Person
  • 3 –5 years of experience in field operations.
  • Tradesor technical certification (student or graduate) would be considered anasset.
