Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. seeks a part-time Customer Service Associate (24 hours per week) to own the customer experience from product selection to order entry, picking, and loading where needed.

You will promote Grainger offerings, maintain strong product knowledge, and complete required certifications to support vending and inventory programs at customer locations. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and strong communication to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction across Canada

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience in retail, selling, or customer service environment.
• Flexibility to hours for branch operations.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment, forklift.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer experience from product selection to order entry, picking, and loading as needed.
• Contribute to sales opportunities and drive revenue targets.
• Promote Grainger products and services and provide substitutions when required.
• Maintain knowledge of products and certifications.
• Process customer transactions and provide timely updates on delivery and quotes.
• Support vending and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs.
• Ensure proper stocking levels and labeling at customer locations.
