Job summary

Dexterra Group is looking for an Operations Manager, Oilsands, to oversee Lodge Management teams in a field-focused role. The position involves about 80% field duty and 20% hybrid work, with some weekends required to meet client and business needs.

Responsibilities include leading field teams, implementing safety and quality improvements, and driving profitability while coordinating with senior leadership to achieve location targets.

Qualifications

• Must have safety-first mindset and strong leadership.
• Minimum 8 years of operations management experience.
• Experience in multi-unit management, hospitality or oil & gas is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of field-based Lodge Managers to ensure compliant operations.
• Drive operational improvements in safety, quality and customer service.
• Manage financial targets including EBITDA and cost control.
• Coordinate with senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives across locations.
