Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service/Inventory Specialist to service multiple customer locations on a designated route and on-site projects.

You will stock purchased products, ensure accuracy of labeling and quantities, and manage customer inventories with careful attention to stock levels. You will resolve issues promptly to maintain loyalty, collaborate with sales partners, and support cross-functional teams to improve the customer experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in customer service/sales (retail/phone/warehouse).
• Comfortable using daily technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve multiple customer locations on a designated route with stocking and inventory management.
• Resolve customer problems promptly to maintain loyalty.
• Ensure safety and comply with Grainger policies.
• Meet defined KPI targets for the role.
• Assist with non-route activities and inventory projects as needed.
• Engage with customers to identify additional product needs and spot-buy opportunities.
