WSP in Canada is seeking a Field Engineer to help bring a major gold processing facility to life. You will connect engineering, construction, and field execution while ensuring safety, quality, and technical excellence on a rotational on-site schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 7+ years in field engineering on industrial projects, mining experience, and the ability to interpret drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical preferred.
• 7+ years of field engineering on industrial construction projects.
• Experience in mining or mineral processing; gold processing is a strong asset.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and technical docs.
• Knowledge of Canadian construction practices and EPCM environments.
• Willingness for rotational site schedules in remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, construction, and contractor activities for safe project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance by interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Monitor field execution to IFC drawings and project requirements.
• Support installation of mechanical, electrical, and civil components on site.
• Resolve RFIs and field changes to maintain momentum.
• Partner with QA/QC for inspections, turnover, and closeout.
• Track progress, quantities, and productivity metrics.
• Champion HSEQ excellence on site.
