Job summary

WSP is seeking a Field Engineer to help bring a major gold processing facility to life in Newfoundland, Canada. You will connect engineering, construction, and field execution, ensuring safety, quality, and technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle in a rotational on-site role.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities, interpreting drawings, supporting installation across mechanical, electrical, and civil components, and collaborating with QA/QC and project teams to maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical preferred.
• 7+ years of field engineering experience on industrial construction projects.
• Experience in mining or mineral processing projects, with gold processing experience a strong asset.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian construction practices, codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, construction, and contractor activities to support safe and successful project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance during construction by interpreting drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
• Monitor field execution to ensure work aligns with IFC drawings and project requirements.
• Support installation of mechanical, electrical, and civil components across the gold processing facility.
• Resolve RFIs and field change requests to maintain project momentum.
