Job summary

Chem-Aqua, Inc. in Vancouver, BC, is hiring a Water Treatment Field Maintenance Technician for industrial and commercial accounts.

You will independently service accounts across the territory, deliver products and equipment, perform onsite water testing, and optimize chemical adjustment programs to improve equipment efficiency. A technical college diploma is preferred; a valid driver’s license and own vehicle are required.

• Able to perform physical, hands-on activities at job sites.
• Experience in industrial water treatment or HVAC is an asset but not required.
• College diploma in a technical or scientific field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

WE KEEP THE POSITION CHALLENGING. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Independently service accounts throughout the territory with the scope of work to include: delivering products & equipment, onsite water testing, determination of chemical adjustments, optimization of chemical treatment programs & equipment efficiencies.
• Complete and submit field service reports for all service visits, enter orders and contracts online as required in consultation with the senior account manager

HIT THE GROUND RUNNING WITH THESE REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability and desire to learn and apply technical knowledge with a strong work ethic
• Able to perform physical, hands-on activities at job sites, including working at heights
• Previous experience in industrial water treatment or HVAC systems an asset but not required
• College Diploma in a technical or scientific field/trade preferred
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills to well represent company
• Residing in the Vancouver, BC area
• A valid driver’s license, car insurance & own vehicle
