Job Details

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinics.
2. Assess and monitor pre and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by protocols.
3. Complete documentation according to policies, procedures, and accreditation standards.
4. Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and protocols.
5. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints per policies.
6. Ensure reliable availability to meet operational KPIs.
7. Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet scheduling and treatment timelines.
8. Coordinate with patients and caregivers for appointments and medication delivery.
9. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to maintain professional standards.
10. Adhere to professional nursing standards and work collaboratively within the healthcare team.
11. Travel within designated areas to meet operational needs.
12. Follow all standard operating procedures and health and safety standards.
13. Complete ongoing training as required.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
15. Be on standby/on-call as needed.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with relevant experience.
• At least 1 year experience with IV initiation.
• Current nursing registration and CPR certification.
• Experience in critical care, emergency, or homecare settings.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA are assets.
• Proficiency in MS Office and internet access.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel within the area.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.

The successful candidate may have daily contacts with English-speaking clients, patients, or team members.
