Job Details
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
  2. Assess and monitor pre- and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
  3. Complete necessary documentation based on policies, procedures, and standards set by the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation.
  4. Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups.
  5. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints according to Innomar policies and training.
  6. Ensure reliable availability based on employment agreements to meet the needs of the IBU and key performance indicators.
  7. Communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet timelines for scheduling appointments and treatments.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers to coordinate appointments and drug delivery.
  9. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to maintain and improve professional standards.
  10. Participate in specialized client-related training as required.
  11. Adhere to professional nursing standards and Innomar policies.
  12. Work collaboratively within the healthcare team, providing oversight and delegation to RPN/LPN as authorized.
  13. Travel within designated areas to meet operational needs.
  14. Follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  15. Comply with health and safety standards as per provincial regulations.
  16. Complete ongoing and annual education and training within specified timeframes.
  17. Perform other duties as required.
  18. Be available on standby/on call as needed.
Experience And Educational Requirements
  1. Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse.
  2. At least 1 year of IV initiation experience.
  3. Current registration with a licensing body; CPR certification.
  4. Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care, or homecare settings.
  5. ACLS, PALs, MS, CVAA certifications, and experience with central venous lines/ports are assets.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and internet use.
  7. Access to reliable internet connection.
  8. Knowledge of mobile phones and fax machines for communication and documentation.
  9. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  11. Willingness to travel within the assigned geographical area.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, And Ability Requirements
  1. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
  2. Business and financial acumen is an asset.
  3. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  6. Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  7. Presentation skills and self-direction.
  8. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  9. Valid, non-expired, unrestricted driver's license and insurance.

The successful candidate may have daily contact with English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams.
