Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
- Assess and monitor pre- and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
- Complete necessary documentation based on policies, procedures, and standards set by the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation.
- Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups.
- Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints according to Innomar policies and training.
- Ensure reliable availability based on employment agreements to meet the needs of the IBU and key performance indicators.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet timelines for scheduling appointments and treatments.
- Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers to coordinate appointments and drug delivery.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to maintain and improve professional standards.
- Participate in specialized client-related training as required.
- Adhere to professional nursing standards and Innomar policies.
- Work collaboratively within the healthcare team, providing oversight and delegation to RPN/LPN as authorized.
- Travel within designated areas to meet operational needs.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Comply with health and safety standards as per provincial regulations.
- Complete ongoing and annual education and training within specified timeframes.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Be available on standby/on call as needed.
Experience And Educational Requirements
- Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse.
- At least 1 year of IV initiation experience.
- Current registration with a licensing body; CPR certification.
- Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care, or homecare settings.
- ACLS, PALs, MS, CVAA certifications, and experience with central venous lines/ports are assets.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and internet use.
- Access to reliable internet connection.
- Knowledge of mobile phones and fax machines for communication and documentation.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned geographical area.

- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
