Job Details
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
  2. Assess and monitor pre and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
  3. Complete necessary documentation based on policies, procedures, and standards from the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation.
  4. Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, either individually or in groups.
  5. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints according to Innomar policies and procedures.
  6. Ensure reliable availability to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics Key Performance Indicators.
  7. Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams (case managers, physicians, pharmacy, scheduling, etc.) to meet scheduling and treatment timelines.
  8. Communicate with patients and caregivers to set up appointments and coordinate drug delivery to home and clinic.
  9. Participate in team web-based meetings and training sessions to maintain professional standards.
  10. Engage in specialized client-related training as required.
  11. Adhere to professional nursing standards and Innomar guidelines.
  12. Work collaboratively within the healthcare team, providing oversight and delegation to RPN/LPN as authorized.
  13. Travel within designated IBUs to meet operational needs.
  14. Follow all nursing, clinic SOPs, work instructions, and health and safety standards.
  15. Complete ongoing and annual training within specified timeframes.
  16. Perform other duties as required by Innomar.
  17. Be available on standby/on-call as needed.
Experience And Educational Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with relevant experience required.
  • At least 1 year experience with IV initiation.
  • Current registration with licensing body; CPR certification.
  • Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient, or homecare settings.
  • Assets include ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA certifications, and central venous line/port experience.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and other relevant computer programs.
  • Access to reliable internet connection.
  • Knowledge of cell phones for communication and appointment management.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated geographical area.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry (asset).
  • Business and financial acumen (asset).
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Time management, problem-solving, presentation skills.
  • Self-directed and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and insurance.

The role involves daily contact with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients, and cross-functional team members.
