Job summary

You will promote a culture of safety across Northern Ontario projects and support incident investigations, training, and hazard assessments. The role requires at least 3 years in health and safety within construction/mining, post-secondary training in OH&S, and NSCO or active

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Health and Safety professional within the construction, mining, or aggregate industries.
• Post-secondary training in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
• NSCO certification or active progress toward designation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular workplace/site inspections and coordinate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Managers and Supervisors to monitor compliance and identify safety issues.
• Deliver safety orientation and training for all employees.
• Maintain records of health and safety-related training and investigations.
• Assist HR with workplace investigations and safety-related documentation.
