Northern Employment Solutions Inc is assisting a family-owned Northern Ontario business in recruiting a Field Coordinator to oversee daily field operations across the Sudbury Basin, ensuring safety, quality, and timely project completion.

You will coordinate crews, schedule equipment and materials, prepare quotes, and liaise with customers and management. Willingness to travel and work out of town is required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial maintenance or protective coatings.
  • Experience in industrial contracting, mining, or heavy industry.
  • Experience with mining operations in the Sudbury region.
  • Must not currently be restricted from accessing any Ontario mining operations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with estimating, scheduling, and customer service is preferred.

  • Attend customer site visits and meetings.
  • Prepare quotes for small to medium-sized projects.
  • Schedule field crews, equipment, and materials.
  • Coordinate crew and project logistics.
  • Assist H&S with Safe Work procedures, Work methodologies, Hazard Assessments and JHA's.
  • Monitor project quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Process project documentation and invoicing.
  • Communicate regularly with customers and internal departments.
  • Report directly to upper management.

Job Description:

The Field Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating daily field operations, supporting customers throughout the Sudbury Basin, and ensuring projects are completed safely, and to a high standard of quality.
