You will inspect landowner sites, obtain permissions, and coordinate contractor work to ensure safe, compliant vegetation control across projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with landowners, contractors, and internal teams, with opportunities to impact wildfire prevention and community safety through diligent program

Qualifikationen

• Requires a forestry-related post-secondary credential or diploma with applicable registrations; alternative HS diploma with 3+ years in natural resources and a certification can qualify.
• Knowledge of forest management, land-use regulations, wildfire prevention, and contractor HSE management.
• Ability to manage projects and contractors; strong writing and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Patrol rights-of-way and document vegetation conditions; recommend remedial actions.
• Measure sites and negotiate landowner permissions for vegetation work.
• Identify and mark danger trees and vegetation hazards.
• Coordinate landowner consent for vegetation control work.
• Support cost estimates and monitor contractor productivity and costs.
• Oversee contractor safety, quality, and environmental performance on projects.
