Zusammenfassung

Veolia is seeking a Field Engineering Intern to join a strong technical service environment and gain hands-on exposure in industrial water treatment alongside experienced professionals.

This is a full-time, 14-month co-op with an anticipated May/June 2027 start, located in Hamilton, Ontario. Responsibilities include generating system drawings, conducting lab tests, monitoring equipment, and supporting monthly reporting while building engineering skills.

Qualifikationen

  • Experience performing basic chemical tasks such as titrations, pH & conductivity measurements.
  • Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot chemical feed equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and data management tools.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

As the Field Engineering Intern, you will be joining a strong technical service environment. Inthis role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals within thefield of industrial water treatment. You will gain exposure supporting water treatmentsystems and assist the organization in achieving its annual goals and objectives as an activeparticipant.

This is a full-time, 14 month co-op, with an anticipated start date in May 2027. The job location will be based in Hamilton, ON.

Nature of work:
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);

  • Generate system drawings, PFDs, for use in on-site manuals and proposals
  • Conduct wet testing in laboratory on water samples
  • Actively monitor process equipment performance through online tools
  • Assist in completing monthly reporting requirements
  • Manage bulk chemical inventory and assist with ordering chemical products asrequired
  • Perform field checks on process equipment (flows, pH, conductivity, chemicalresiduals, etc.)
  • Work with supervisors on plant equipment optimization opportunities
Qualifications
  • Experience performing basic chemical tasks such as titrations, pH & conductivitymeasurements, and using other simple chemistry lab instruments
  • Basic mechanical skills to help troubleshoot chemical feed equipment
  • Computer skills - use of Microsoft Office, Visio, and online data Management
  • Strong teamwork & communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain deliverables in a fast-paced work environment
  • Full-time availability for 14months starting May/June 2027

Education:

  • Rising Junior or Senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry

Compensation:

The compensation range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $24.72-$27.30 CAD.
