We are looking for a Field Coordinator to join our exciting and growing Field Evaluation Services team!

Job Overview

We are currently expanding our Field Evaluation services and are looking for a Field Coordinator to join our growing team of technical experts in product evaluation. This current position is for our head office located in Toronto!

The successful candidate will be assigned to work directly with the Field Evaluation Operations Manager and assist in the following:

Duties

· Assist the FE Operations Manager in the Coordination of Field Evaluation program and all related work activities.

· Assist the FE Operations Manager in coordinating FE activities (including training) for FE staff and external QPS contractors/subcontractors as required.

· Interface with clients and resolve issues.

· Assist the FE Operations Manager in handling of customer complaints regarding Field Evaluation work performed.

· Review and recommend improved processes for the handling and delivery of Field Evaluation Services.

· Assist in the review of documented FE procedures on an on-going basis and submit request for corrections, changes and additions as may be required.

· Communicate with all Field Evaluation staff on an as needed basis.

· Assist the FE Operations Manager in the preparation of proposals (quotes) for customers and follow-up on all proposals (quotes) issued.

· Assist the FE Operations Manager in distribution to appropriate inspectors of all FE calls that come into the office through reception

· Perform required administrative audits on reports in accordance with the Accreditation Criteria.

· Assist in performing random audits/review on FE Reports.

· Represent the FE group at meetings as directed by the FE Operations Manager.

· Review and recommend subjects for staff training and clarification of procedures and requirements.

* Assist in other FE related activities as may be required.

Requirements

o Two years' experience in the testing, inspection, and certification industry or in a regulatory or compliance department will be preferred.

o Proficiency in MS Office

o Exceptional interpersonal skills

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Ability to work and make decisions independently

o Strong problem-solving skills

o Detail oriented

o Familiarity with CSA, UL and IEC product standards is an asset

o Familiarity with various electrical test procedures is an asset

o College Diploma or University Degree in the electrical field is an asset

Additionally,

  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and clerical tasks.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Attention to detail for proofreading documents and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
