Job summary

Alberta Health Services seeks an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) for Calgary Division EMS - Rural Rover Airdrie. You will assess emergencies, provide ALS care, and transport patients between facilities. You may lead the ALS team during transport and at scenes while ensuring transport units are properly stocked and ready.

The role requires travel in diverse conditions and a valid Class 4 licence. Candidates must have non-restricted ACP registration with ACOP, BCLS CPR, and pass the Lifemark

Qualifications

• ACOP registration as Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) in good standing.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) CPR certification.
• Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence with a recent driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency scenes and patients and provide ALS-level patient care.
• Transport patients and lead ALS team during transport or at scenes.
• Ensure ambulances and NET vehicles are stocked, maintained and ready for service.
