Job summary

Colter Energy LP is seeking Field Assistants for full-time roles based out of Blackfalds and Grande Prairie. The positions involve extensive travel to work sites across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Northern British Columbia to perform gas well testing duties.

Day rates start at $300, plus subsistence, with a strong benefits and RRSP matching program. Ideal candidates reside near Red Deer or Grande Prairie and hold required safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Certifications required: Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO training from Energy Safety Canada.
• Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screens are required for all Safety Sensitive Positions.

Responsibilities

• Aiding in the rig in and out of the equipment associated with the job.
• General maintenance and servicing all well testing equipment, with direction from Supervisor.
• Perform accurate readings of gauges and monitors during shift.
• Working knowledge of rules and regulations provided by governing regulatory bodies and willingness to ask questions if things are unclear.
• Adherence to Colter safety guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Able to work away from home and hours can exceed 12 per shift.
• Able and willing to follow direction for assigned duties from Field Supervisors and Management.

We are currently seeking team members for a full time Field Assistants based out of our Blackfalds and Grande Prairie locations. These positions are field based, involving approximately 20 days a month travelling to work sites throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Northern British Columbia to perform gas well testing duties. • Field Assistants do not require any experience in the oil & gas industry or Well Testing
• Reside in the Red Deer or Grande Prairie area (within 30 minutes of our shops)
