Job Details

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
  • Assess and monitor pre- and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
  • Complete necessary documentation based on policies, procedures, and standards set by the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups.
  • Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar policies and procedures.
  • Ensure reliable availability to meet the needs of the IBU and key performance indicators.
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and patients to coordinate appointments, treatments, and drug deliveries.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to maintain professional standards.
  • Adhere to professional nursing standards and collaborate within the healthcare team, including delegation to RPN/LPN as authorized.
  • Travel within designated areas to meet operational needs.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and health and safety standards.
  • Complete ongoing education and training within specified timeframes.
  • Perform other duties as required and may be on standby/on call to meet service needs.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with relevant experience required.
  • Minimum 1-year IV initiation experience.
  • Current registration with licensing body; CPR certification.
  • Experience in critical care, emergency, inpatient/outpatient, or homecare settings.
  • Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA, and experience with central venous lines are assets.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and internet use.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel within the designated area.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management, ability to meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance coverage.

The candidate may have daily contact with English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams.
