Job Details

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
2. Assess and monitor pre and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
3. Complete necessary documentation based on policies, procedures, and standards such as those from the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation.
4. Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, either individually or in groups.
5. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar policies and procedures.
6. Ensure reliable availability based on the employment agreement to meet the needs of the IBU and KPIs of nursing and clinics.
7. Communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including case managers, physicians, pharmacy, scheduling, and other departments to meet treatment and appointment timelines.
8. Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers to set up appointments and coordinate drug delivery to home and clinic.
9. Participate in team web-based meetings and training sessions to maintain professional standards.
10. Engage in specialized client-related training as required.
11. Adhere to professional nursing standards and practices prescribed by professional associations and Innomar.
12. Work collaboratively within the healthcare team, providing oversight and delegation to RPN/LPN as authorized by provincial nursing regulations.
13. Travel within designated IBUs to meet operational needs.
14. Follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions relevant to nursing and clinic operations.
15. Comply with all health and safety standards mandated by provincial laws.
16. Complete ongoing and annual education and training within specified timeframes.
17. Perform other related duties as required by Innomar.
18. Be available on standby/on call as needed to meet service requirements.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

1. Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
2. At least 1 year of IV initiation experience.
3. Current registration with a licensing body and CPR certification.
4. Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient, or homecare settings.
5. Assets include ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA certifications, and experience with central venous lines/ports.
6. Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and other applicable computer programs.
7. Reliable internet connection and access to a cell phone for communication and appointment management.
8. Excellent customer service skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
9. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
10. Willingness and ability to travel within the designated geographical area.
