Job summary

Dura-Tech Industrial & Marine Limited seeks a plastically focused technician to operate machines and tools, prepare inspection reports, and assemble composite materials. You will inspect products for defects, make repairs, and ensure quality.

This is an on-site role at our Nova Scotia location, with a hands-on, fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in plastics fabrication, can read specs, and demonstrate attention to detail and teamwork in a structured shop setting.

Qualifications

• 3 years to less than 5 years experience in manufacturing or related field.
• Experience with plastic fabrication is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specs.

• Operate machines or equipment or use hand tools to cut, shape, splice and fit plastic materials to form parts and assemblies.
• Prepare reports on products inspected.
• Assemble composite materials on patterns to form parts and assemblies.
• Inspect manufactured plastic products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards.
