Job summary

Terrain Fencing, a division of Terrain Group, is seeking a skilled Labourer to join our outdoor fencing crew in Ontario. The successful candidate will assist with installation of wood, chain link, and silt fences, load materials, and maintain site cleanliness while prioritizing safety.

You will operate hand and power tools, perform digging, post setting, and layout tasks, and follow crew instructions. Experience in outdoor construction and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are valued; a benefits

Qualifications

• Experience in fencing, construction, general labour, material handling, landscaping, or other outdoor construction roles.
• Experience installing fences (wood, chain link, or silt fence).
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, and post-hole equipment on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of wood, chain link, and silt fences
• Load and unload materials, equipment, and tools; maintain site cleanliness
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Perform digging, post setting, measuring, and layout tasks as directed
• Follow instructions from the crew lead and adhere to all safety standards
• Experience working in fencing, construction, general labour, material handling, landscaping, or other outdoor construction roles
• Experience installing fences (wood, chain link, or silt fence)
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, and post-hole equipment on job sites
• Experience with job-site safety practices, including PPE, safe tool operation, and following established security procedures
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions

The successful candidate will work alongside our fencing crews assisting with the installation of various fencing systems while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Key responsibilities include:
