About the Role

Reporting to the Supervisor, Multiplatform Content, you will be responsible for scheduling Corus’ FAST channels. This role requires strong attention to detail, an interest in data entry and the ability to meet regular deadlines.

You will contribute by:

  • Create and build weekly schedules for multiple channels in the FAST environment, using VMS
  • Working with the Director, plan weekly grid schedules in advance
  • Maintain inventory and work with acquisitions team on renewals
  • Review performance and engagement and make adjustments to schedule accordingly to drive audiences
  • Make immediate schedule changes as required
  • Arrange content within collections in VMS
  • Ensure schedule playout is as planned (QC checks, EPG accurate, on-air presentation)
  • Overseeing the scheduling of new content in ARI, track when becomes available in VMS system, add to collections and begin to schedule content for FAST channels
  • Maintain metadata of content where applicable
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

Skills and experience you bring:

  • Attention to detail with strong time management skills as weekly deadlines cannot be missed
  • Experience with data entry and proficient in excel
  • Knowledge or experience with VMS and ARI
  • Ability to problem-solve and trouble shoot
  • Experience working in television or with other social/digital platforms
