Job summary

Simons in Quebec City seeks a one-year temporary Fashion Import Production Coordinator to oversee the end-to-end production of exclusive collections. You will monitor the production schedule, ensure on-time delivery, and coordinate with product development teams and suppliers to maintain product conformity.

With strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities, you will keep the PLM system up to date, collaborate across internal and external teams, and react quickly to changes,

  • Ability to maintain performance and composure under tight deadlines and in the face of unforeseen circumstances.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the production schedule according to orders, deadlines and priorities.

  • Coordinate all production stages from order placement.
  • Work closely with product development teams (Designers and Supply Coordinator) and suppliers to ensure product conformity.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams to ensure rigorous monitoring of production.
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure delivery and production deadlines are met.
  • Ensure quality control at every stage of the production process.
  • React quickly to unforeseen events (supplier delays, style changes, etc.) by adjusting the production schedule accordingly.

This is a one year temporary position. The position holder coordinates and rigorously monitors every step of the product production process to ensure the quality and on-time delivery of our exclusive collections. This essential role requires sharp organizational skills, proactive management of priorities and fluid communication with different teams and suppliers. With meticulous attention to detail and an ability to react to the unexpected, the Fashion Import production coordinator contributes directly to the success of each collection.
