Job summary

The Lakeland Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Society is seeking an Employment Coordinator to support clients in obtaining and sustaining work across the Lakeland region. The role involves travel to communities and flexible hours to meet program needs.

You will develop trainings, coordinate employment opportunities, and maintain data while building partnerships with agencies and employers. A degree in human services plus community experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of direct community-based experience with high-risk populations.
• Must be culturally competent.
• Verbal and written communication, speak to groups and partners.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

• Develop training sessions for agencies, employers and communities.
• Explore employment, volunteer and work experience opportunities with clients.
• Support clients to maintain employment.
• Maintain statistical information.
• Keep employers engaged and build partnerships.
• Coordinate self-improvement or employment skills training in satellite offices.
• Coordinate Mocktail events to provide employment opportunities.
