Job summary

Fosters Custom Farming Inc recherche un ouvrier agricole permanent pour travailler dans une exploitation d'élevage et de cultures en Ontario. Le poste exige une capacité physique et une expérience préalable; le travail se déroule en milieu rural avec des horaires potentiellement longs.

Responsabilités: nourrir et entretenir le bétail, planter, cultiver et irriguer les cultures, opérer et entretenir les machines agricoles, et assurer la sécurité et la biosécurité. Formation et intégration prévues.

Qualifications

• Expérience de 2 à 3 ans demandée.
• Anglais utilisé comme langue de travail.

TASKS

• Clean the crops
• Handling animals

• Organize tasks to accomplish the work
• Perform livestock feeding
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops

• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
• Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
• Operate various vehicles and equipment
• Operate machines and equipment
• Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings
• Operate industrial trucks, tractors and other mobile equipment
• Operate and feed a variety of machines
• Check, calibrate and perform routine maintenance to equipment
• Operate machinery
• Spray herbicides from the ground using manual spraying equipment
• Organize planting, cultivating and crop harvesting activities
• Monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns

TRANSPORTATION/TRAVEL INFORMATION
