Mid-Man Farms Ltd, located north of Carberry, Manitoba, seeks a Farm Grain Elevator Operator to manage grain storage in two elevators and operate a grain cleaner. Training provided. Evening/weekend shifts during seeding/harvest may be required.

Full-time with maintenance duties; part-time considered for the right candidate. Competitive wages and benefits available. Applicants should have farm experience, ability to operate equipment safely, and practical skills in building/equipment maintenance;

Formación

• A farm background is an asset and/or experience working on various farm equipment.
• Safely operate equipment.
• Experience repairing and maintaining buildings and equipment.
• Possess a valid driver's license (Class 1 preferred)
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Good communication and math skills.

Responsabilidades

• Look after grains stored in two elevators.
• Manage stored grains and operate grain cleaner.

We are searching for an individual to look after our grains stored in 2 elevators. We own elevators located at Harte and Gregg. Grains are loaded into the elevator during harvest and loaded out over the year until the next harvest. Stored grains need to be managed, and we also have a grain cleaner that is operational. Training provided for the correct person. This can be a full-time position with maintenance and repair work on the elevator and its equipment. We would consider a part-time schedule for the right person. Seeding and harvest times will require evenings and/or weekends.

Qualifications:

• A farm background is an asset and/or experience working on various farm equipment.
• Safely operate equipment.
