Job summary

Mid-Man Farms Ltd., a quality-focused farm north of Carberry, Manitoba, is seeking a Farm Grain Elevator Operator to manage grains stored in two elevators and operate a grain cleaner. The role includes maintenance and repair work on the elevator and equipment, with training provided.

A full-time position is offered, with potential for part-time scheduling during seeding and harvest times. Ideal applicants will have farm experience, the ability to safely operate equipment, and good communication

Qualifications

• Farm background is an asset and/or experience on farm equipment.
• Safely operate equipment on site.
• Experience repairing and maintaining buildings and equipment.
• Possess a valid driver's license (Class 1 preferred).
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Good communication and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Look after grains stored in two elevators.
• Operate the grain cleaner and associated equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repair work on elevator and equipment.
• Training provided for the correct person.
• Seeding and harvest times may require evenings and/or weekends.
