Placements24 in Canada is seeking a dedicated Family Support Counselor to provide essential services to families in Kimberley region. This role focuses on strengthening family relationships, addressing challenges, and promoting well-being through counseling and support services within the Northern Cape.

You will work directly with families, creating a safe and supportive environment for them to navigate difficulties and build resilience.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the relevant professional board.
  • Proven experience in family counseling and intervention.
  • Strong understanding of family systems theory and child development.
  • Excellent active listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
